Belay sets no cookies. Not one. It stores a single item on your device, and only once you have logged in.
What is stored, and why

That is the complete list. It is set by Supabase Auth after you sign in, it holds your own session token, and it is readable only by startbelay.com. A visitor who never logs in has nothing stored at all.
Do you need to consent?
No, and we are not going to interrupt you with a banner asking. Consent is required for storage that is not strictly necessary. This item is strictly necessary in the exact sense the rules mean: it exists only to deliver a service you explicitly asked for by logging in, and without it logging in does not work. There is nothing else to consent to, so a banner would be theatre.
What we are not doing
Stating this positively, because “we use cookies to improve your experience” is where most policies hide it:
- No analytics of any kind. Not Google Analytics, not a privacy-friendly one, not our own.
- No advertising or conversion pixels, and no remarketing tags.
- No session recording or heatmaps.
- No device fingerprinting.
- No embedded videos, maps, chat widgets, social buttons, or comment systems.
- No third-party fonts, scripts, or images. Our fonts are served from our own domain, so loading a page does not disclose your IP address to anyone but us.
- No cross-site tracking, so there is nothing for a Global Privacy Control signal to switch off. We honour it regardless.
Payment pages are Stripe's
When you pay, we send you to Stripe's own checkout on Stripe's domain. Stripe sets its own cookies there, for fraud prevention and to make the payment work, under its own privacy policy. We do not control them and we receive nothing from them. When you come back to startbelay.com, you are back to the single item above.
Turning it off
Your browser can block or clear local storage for this site at any time. Doing so signs you out; nothing else about Belay changes. The coaching runs over SMS from our servers and does not depend on your browser at all.
